The term dracopis, is derived from the Greek root word draco which means Dragon. They are charming, dancing rudbeckia (black-eyed susan) type flowers in the fields or in more formal beds. This is an annual flower - meaning it will only bloom one year - but it will reseed. The seed heads have a high oil content and they attract bees.
