Product Details

Biscayne peppers, also know as Cubano, and Cubanelle peppers, and they are wonderful in most dishes, due to their wonderful flavor.Use as a tangier, slightly spicy alternative to bell peppers in your favorite dishes, but not hot and will sit on your stomach very well.Peppers are light yellow-green (6 - 7” long) to bright red when mature. Commonly used when in yellow-green stage. Excellent frying pepper. And this pepper does well in Northern or Southern climate regions.

When plant is 12” or taller, transplant them outdoors, and it is suggested that you do this right before rain is expected (within 24 hours) on a cloudy day.If you are starting these plants inside, under lights, you are helping them get used to the direct sunlight, by doing this process. You want the temps to remain in the 60 to 70 degree range, at least as peppers are heat loving plants and, like tomatoes, will not set blossoms if the temps are in the 50’s.Fertilize with a fertilizer that has a higher phosphate levels, to encourage the production of blossoms/fruit.
